Garb for Sale for LARPing or for Faire

Every so often there comes a time when the garb closet needs to be cleaned out from the stuff I’m not wearing, and this year is a clean-out-the-garb-closet-year. Some of the items here are ideal if you’re a LARPer and others may be better if you’re a Rennie, but any of them can be worn to a faire or a fantasy-medieval LARP regardless. If you are interested in any of the items please use the handy dandy form on the left side of the page under ‘Contact Us’ to shoot me an email with what you’re interested in. And now the items ….

Black panne velvet dress/robe with faux fur trim at neck and sleeves

$30 + shipping (will be shipped from the Greater Seattle, WA area)

A solid black panne velvet dress/robe with square neck. This is pretty free size through the hips. Bust is 23″ across the front. The front corners of the faux fur have been tacked up a bit to make it easier for a slightly less-busty woman to wear, but those can be let out for a bit more room at the neck. I’m about 5′ 7″ and it hits the floor on me in the front, the back is designed to have a short train of about 6-8 inches. Purchased back in 2002 and worn only a few times, kept primarily in the garb closet.

This can be either hand-washed or tossed into the washing machine on the delicate cycle.

Comes from a non-smoking home. I’m owned by a cat, however the furball is not allowed near the garb. I can’t guarantee that some stray hairs haven’t made their way to the item. Item has been cross-posted. Please send an email if interested or if you have questions.

Panne Velvet and brocade underdress and overdress

$100 + shipping (will be shipped from the Greater Seattle, WA area)

Purchased in 2012 at AZRF from Wizards Wardrobe, this has been worn just a couple of times, but has largely been left to hang in my garb closet. The tag in the underdress states a size small. The underdress is made of light green panne velvet with ivory accents and gold trim on the sleeves. The front has elastic just under the bust, so I’d not go larger than a 34 B, maybe C cup. There are hidden pockets in the sides of the underdress. The underdress and overdress both “flare” out from the hips as it’s been designed to be worn over a farthingale/hoop-skirt. I’m about 5′ 7″ and it hits the floor on me without a hoop-skirt on.

The overdress is reversible (just need to remove the label from the inside, as it’s been tacked in and designed to be removed, I just never did). One side is a pale green edged in dark green with gold braiding trim accents. The other side is an antique gold, cream, and sage green brocade edged in that same dark green with gold braiding trim accents. The overdress is meant to lie open to show the underdress beneath. The epulats are slightly padded. Both sides of the reversible overdress have hidden pockets in the sides. Like the underdress it’s designed to be worn over a hoop-skirt if one wishes.

This outfit can be either hand-washed or tossed into the washing machine on the delicate cycle.

Comes from a non-smoking home. I’m owned by a cat, however the furball is not allowed near the garb. I can’t guarantee that some stray hairs haven’t made their way to the item. Item has been cross-posted. Please send an email if interested or if you have questions.
